Safer Churches Volunteer Essentials Course
The Safer Churches Essentials Course 2nd edition is an online course provided by the Australian Christian Churches. Completion of this course is a requirement for all volunteers.
Upon completion, please send your Safer Churches Volunteer Essentials Course 2nd edition certificate to kate@riversedgechurch.com.au.
This needs to be completed every 3 years. If you have already completed the full course, you only need to do the ‘refresher’ course.
Note: If you volunteer in a role working directly with children, a Pastor, Board Member or on staff - do not complete this course as you are required to complete the ACC Safer Churches Induction Course for Credential holders. The induction covers all of the content of the essentials course.
The cost of this workshop is $15. If you require financial assistance to complete the course, please speak to a pastor or email kate@riversedgechurch.com.au and we will reimburse you once a receipt is received.
